The historic center foi declarado Patrimônio Mundial pela UNESCO, pela beleza e importância de seu desenvolvimento arquitetônico. Em suas ruas empedradas, onde não podem circular carros, encontram-se igrejas e belas mansões coloniais, na maioria pintadas de branco e perfeitamente mantidas, o que dá a sensação de que voltamos no tempo há vários séculos. No centro tem muitas opções de bares, restaurantes e lojas, que estão prontas para receber os visitantes.

Pontal Beach
Our beach is located very close to Paraty's city center, in a residential neighborhood. It has a beachfront for strolling and biking, with parking for visitors. With very calm waters, it is the favorite of families with small children, and of those who enjoy kayaking or stand up paddle. Sitting at our beach bar, you can enjoy typical caiçara food, and watch the fishermen coming and going with their colorful boats.
Trinidade
Trindade is the most famous beach in Paraty for having been a hippie community in the 60s. It has many options of beaches: with waves for surfing, also with calm waters for diving, there is a trail to the natural pool, and even a creek with the famous rock that swallows! The tour to the village visits 4 beaches, has a trekking to the natural pool, and a transfer to and from the pousada with a guide. Consult and book at Geko.

Paraty, besides the sea, has incredible waterfalls in the mountains, which you will discover through small trails in the Atlantic forest. On the tour to the waterfalls, you will visit the Tobogã waterfall, where you can run downhill and fall into a pool of water, among others; and visit some of the local distilleries where the town's cachaça is still produced. Includes round trip transfer to the pousada with a guide. Families love this tour.
Walk to Saco de Mamanguá

Cachoeira Saco Bravo- Trekking
Se gosta de trekking, essa é sua oportunidade de conhecer no final do caminho um lugar surreal, onde uma cachoeira forma uma piscina que cai no mar. Partindo da Praia do Sono, tem uma caminhada de umas 3h até a Cachoeira de Saco Bravo. Tem 2 saídas diárias, de caminhadas pelo centro histórico com guias que contam o surgimento de Paraty, o porquê da conservação do centro, e os segredos desses lugares de que pararam no tempo. Diving and Sea Paddling
The bay of Paraty is closed, so there is not much wind and the waters are warm, clear and calm. Ideal for those who enjoy sports such as Kayaking or Stand up Paddle, Canoe, and diving. The marine fauna is very rich and turtles always show up to accompany those who row. Consult and book at Geko.
Paraty-Mirim
Foi um importante porto comercial no passado. É muito interessante visitar as ruínas e a Igreja Nossa Senhora da Conceição, que é a mais antiga de Paraty. No caminho de terra até à praia se passa pela reserva indígena Tupi-Guarani. Já na praia encontrará alguns bares e restaurantes.
Prainha
É a praia mais próxima da cidade, e o acesso é pela trilha que começa na Praia Grande. A Prainha é bem pequena e boa para mergulhar e nadar. Tem um bar para beber uma cervejinha ou refris. Da Praia Grande também pode ir até a Ilha de Araújo, em frente.
São Gonçalo
São Gonçalo beach is located 30 km from Paraty. Access is by the Rio-Santos highway. It is characterized by its fine white sand. It's a long beach, to get there you have to cross a river, on foot or in a small boat. It is the perfect place for a day of sun and sea.
